At Swiss Fondue by Heinz, we offer a refined dining experience inspired by the rich traditions of Swiss cuisine. As the only fondue restaurant in Stowe, Vermont, we take pride in serving authentic, made-from-scratch Swiss fondue, complemented by a carefully curated selection of fine wines and craft beers, thoughtfully chosen to enhance your meal.
Chef Heinz, originally from Switzerland, brings over 50 years of experience in the culinary world, with a deep passion for Swiss traditions and the art of fondue. His wife, May, originally from Thailand, works alongside him in the kitchen, combining her warmth and dedication with the skills she has mastered under Heinz’s guidance. Over the past 12 years, Heinz has taught May everything about preparing and perfecting authentic Swiss fondue, and together, they ensure every dish reflects the heart and soul of Swiss cuisine.
Together, Heinz and May operate a family-owned restaurant where every guest is treated with care and respect. Joining them is Heinz’s stepdaughter, Preeya, who warmly welcomes guests and works as a server, ensuring that every visit is as enjoyable and seamless as possible.
